What is the Age Limit for Class 1 E-Bike?

You can ride class 1 electric bikes almost anywhere in the US, regardless of your age. That’s because most states don’t have any age restrictions for class 1 e-bikes.

However, there are a few exceptions. In some states, you have to be at least 14, 15, or 16 years old to ride a class 1 e-bike. And in Hawaii, you have to be 18 or older.
