A Closer Look at Urtopia’s Unique Carbon Fiber Frame

From my experience, most e-bikes seem to deliver about 30% less than what manufacturers claim, with a few exceptions. When the battery finally runs out, a fast charger can get you back on the road in just 3.5 hours.
The power comes from a rear hub motor that peaks at 1,000 watts. This is quite rare in this e-bike category and a big reason why many Americans will appreciate this comfortable ride. The motor has a torque sensor to control how it reacts, and you can choose from four levels of pedal assist to suit your needs.
This powerhouse motor can produce up to 60 Newton meters (44 lb-ft) of torque. The standard pedal assist speed is 20 mph (32 kph), but you can unlock it to reach 25 mph (40 kph). Plus, the bike includes a throttle function for extra control when you need it.

However, a quick heads-up about adjustable stems. Based on my experience testing several bikes, they tend to loosen up over time. So, it’s really important to make this part of your regular pre-ride checklist and tighten the bolts if you notice any play. Staying on top of this simple maintenance helps keep your ride safe and comfortable.
The rest of the Fusion is rounded out with an 8-speed Shimano Acera drivetrain. This drivetrain is known for smooth and reliable shifting, even on rough terrain.
Most importantly, it comes with hydraulic brakes that include a motor cut off feature. This allows you to stop safely and quickly even if you are still pedaling hard or carrying a load. This setup gives you confidence when braking in all conditions.
